Welcome to the APPES Case Discussion Forum

Paediatric Endocrinologists are regularly challenged by clinical cases, laboratory data and management issues for the children we manage. We all encounter interesting cases that have been instructive to us during presentation, investigation or management. Within APPES there is an enormous breadth of clinical knowledge and experience. This forum is your opportunity to present a case that you wish to seek opinion from APPES members. Alternatively I encourage all of you to share your instructive cases. Clinical cases posted should be brief and all laboratory units should be reported in SI units or at least have the conversion factors to SI units included. Any images attached should be <500 kb to facilitate easy downloading. Opinions posted should be brief and collegial. Members posting advertisements, hostile opinion or inappropriate information will be denied further access to this site. For those participating or following discussion of a clinical case it will be appreciated if the member posting the case informs the rest of us of the actual final outcome of the patient.
